ESC-6 provides professional development and technical assistance to regional day school programs serving students who are deaf or hard of hearing in the region. Through collaboration with the ESC statewide leadership project, ESC-6 helps local programs meet the unique needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing across the continuum of placement options

Students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing are served either by a local Teacher of Students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing or through the Texas Regional Day School Program for the Deaf. Region 6 is served by two Regional Day School Programs:
