ALCOHOL DRUG AND SAFETY TRAINING EDUCATION PROGRAM “AD-A-STEP” FOR LIFE

Featuring Kid BOTS – (Kids, Bring on the SAFETY) – “How ‘Bot SAFETY?”

Region 6 ESC in cooperation with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), offers this innovative and fun program designed to provide alcohol and drug related safety activities, awareness and education to elementary students, teens and adults. 

Teens/Adults - Program utilizes a variety of educational resources and activities including Distract-A-Match, Intoxiclock, Drunk Buster Goggles and equipment, Marijuana impairment goggles and activities, as well as various educational resources and handouts. This program is innovative and designed with age appropriate activities and materials.

Elementary audiences - Program utilizes age appropriate resources and activities, with the goal of meeting the safety needs that are a concern to this age group. This information can be delivered in workshops, group assemblies, class presentations, extracurricular events, or any presentation style that is requested by the school district. Program presentations are customized to meet the specific needs of the school districts and classroom needs, within the service area.
